Storytelling and Learning 学び続け、それを共有すること
I think the creation and sharing of stories - big or small - is a fundamental part of being human, through which we learn about the world and the huge variety of life in it. So, in my free time, whether it's a spare minute or a weekend, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, watching TV, or listening to a podcast. I enjoy both fiction and non-fiction (especially history, language, and nature), and I love constantly expanding my understanding of our world.
創造することや大小様々な出来事を共有することは、人間としての基本的なことであり、それを通じて世界中のたくさんのことについて学べると思っています。そのため、ちょっとした空き時間や週末には、本を読んだり、テレビを観たり、ポッドキャストを聴いたりすることがよくあります。フィクションとノンフィクション、特に歴史や言語、自然に関するものに興味があり、世界を理解し深めることを楽しんでいます。

Listening to Each Other 他の人の意見に耳を傾ける
Everyone has a unique and valuable perspective on the world, and we all deserve to be listened to and heard. Therefore, I believe strongly in listening to and learning from the experiences and viewpoints of others. Everyone has a voice, and I try to be especially attentive to the individual ideas and thoughts that children in particular express.
私たちは皆、それぞれが独自の視点や価値を持ち、他人の話に耳を傾け、その経験や視点から学ぶことが重要だと考えています。誰もが独自の声を持ち、特に子どもたちのアイデアや考えには特に注意を払っています。

Flexible Thinking 柔軟な考えを
No idea or opinion is sacred and we shouldn't allow our personal views to become set in stone. Continuous inquiry and discourse with others are key to constantly developing and improving our ideas. So, I try to always be open to new information and perspectives that challenge my own. I like to be wrong: being wrong allows me to adapt, grow, and improve.
どんな考えや意見も神聖なものではなく、個人的な見解を堅く持つことは避けるべきです。私たちの考えを常に進化させ、向上させるためには、他者との継続的な探求と対話が不可欠です。そのため、新しい情報や自分の見解を覆す視点を常に受け入れるようにしています。間違っていることに気づくことは成長の機会であり、適応力を身につけ、自己を向上させるための重要なステップだと信じています。

Pass it on 他人に思いを伝える
When we receive a kindness from others, however big or small, we should share that feeling with somebody else through our own words and deeds. We don't know how somebody feels just by their appearance, so always start from a position of kindness, respect, and patience.
大小にかかわらず、人から親切を受けたら、その気持ちを自分の言葉や行動で誰かに伝えることが大切だと考えています。外見だけでは相手の気持ちはわからないので、常に優しさ、尊敬、忍耐の気持ちから始められたらと思います。
